As part of the three-year study Quantitative Evidence to EU R&I Policy, commissioned by the European Commission, Science-Metrix supported the development and implementation of an evidence-based monitoring system for European research and innovation (R&I).
Science-Metrix was commissioned by SRI International, on behalf of the National Science Foundation’s Center for Science and Engineering Statistics, to develop measures and indicators of research and innovation activity for inclusion in the Science and Engineering Indicators (SEI) 2026.
Science-Metrix was commissioned by CCA to perform bibliometric and technometric analyses to evaluate Canada’s research and innovation performance. This was the latest update to a series of studies carried out in 2006, 2011 and 2016.
This technical document details the various steps taken to implement the databases, clean and standardize the data, and produce statistics for the bibliometric part of the SEI report.
