R\u00e9sum\u00e9<\/b><\/p>

L\u2019homophilie de genre dans le mentorat en recherche a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9e dans plusieurs pays et domaines de recherche sur deux d\u00e9cennies, en utilisant un nouvel algorithme arborescent qui d\u00e9voile les liens mentor\u2212mentee \u00e0 partir de profils d\u2019auteurs genr\u00e9s dans la base de donn\u00e9es Scopus. Malgr\u00e9 une diminution de l\u2019homophilie chez les femmes par rapport aux hommes, la surrepr\u00e9sentation des paires du m\u00eame genre est rest\u00e9e beaucoup plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e pour les femmes que pour les hommes en 2022. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne n\u2019est observ\u00e9 que dans les domaines o\u00f9 les femmes constituent le groupe majoritaire, o\u00f9 l\u2019homophilie en mentorat est plus marqu\u00e9e chez les hommes que chez les femmes. Ensuite, la contribution, par rapport aux attentes, des mentor\u00e9s du m\u00eame genre ou de genre oppos\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019indice arborescent de leurs mentors a \u00e9t\u00e9 explor\u00e9e. Cette nouvelle m\u00e9trique quantifie la contribution des mentors au futur rendement bibliom\u00e9trique de leurs mentor\u00e9s. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 constat\u00e9 que le fait d\u2019\u00eatre encadr\u00e9 par un mentor du m\u00eame genre b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie l\u00e9g\u00e8rement et presque syst\u00e9matiquement au futur rendement bibliom\u00e9trique des mentor\u00e9s f\u00e9minins \u00e0 travers les pays et les domaines de recherche, et ce, ind\u00e9pendamment de leur statut de genre sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9. Bien que l\u2019impact positif sur la performance des mentor\u00e9s femmes soit modeste, le motif coh\u00e9rent observ\u00e9 \u00e0 travers diff\u00e9rents contextes sugg\u00e8re qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019un v\u00e9ritable effet. La robustesse de ces r\u00e9sultats dans divers contextes indique que la disponibilit\u00e9 de mentors du m\u00eame genre est plus critique pour les femmes que pour les hommes, en raison de leur moindre repr\u00e9sentation dans la plupart des domaines scientifiques. En revanche, la performance bibliom\u00e9trique des mentor\u00e9s masculins semble n\u2019en b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier que dans quelques sous-domaines o\u00f9 les hommes sont sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s. Ces r\u00e9sultats soulignent l\u2019importance de la correspondance de genre dans les r\u00e9seaux de mentorat en recherche, en particulier pour les mentor\u00e9s f\u00e9minins, ainsi que des aspects cl\u00e9s de la dynamique de ces r\u00e9seaux.<\/p>
