Science-Metrix undertakes an update study for TRIUMF

Published on March 21 2018

Science-Metrix is pleased to announce that we have been mandated by TRIUMF, Canada’s particle accelerator centre, to undertake an update study on work we produced in 2013. This update is being performed in the context of TRIUMF’s Five-Year Plan 2020–2025, and the new study period will range from 2001 to 2016.

The study will present a general overview of 15 years of research activity at TRIUMF and will draw national and global portraits of research from the following five pillars of activity at the centre.

  • Nuclear Physics
  • Particle Physics
  • Materials Science
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Accelerator Physics

The study will also benchmark TRIUMF’s scientific production and impact against the top institutions in each of these fields worldwide, as well as against selections of comparable facilities or organizations for each field. The study will also position TRIUMF within its collaboration network in each field.

It is, once again, a pleasure and an honour for Science-Metrix to work for this prestigious Canadian institution, one of the leading subatomic physics research centres at the international level.
