UNESCO Science Report: Towards 2030

November 2015

The Science-Metrix bibliometrics team contributed bibliometric and technometric indicators to the publication UNESCO Science Report: Towards 2030. The report provides country and regional synopses of scientific activity, and examines issues related to sustainable growth, researcher mobility, and the gender gap in science and engineering. It complements the United Nations’ 2015 adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Using Thomson Reuters’ Web of Science database and the PATSTAT patent database, Science-Metrix calculated the following bibliometric and technometric indicators for all countries and 28 regions or country groupings in 13 fields of science.
